Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick

I’m sure you’ve heard many positive views about this product and in fact most of Rimmel London’s lipsticks and I must admit, this is going to be another one. I have this lipstick in shade 107 and completely fell in love with it as soon as I swatched it in Boots.
Colour:
The colour for me is perfect. It goes perfectly with my skin tone which is an ivory colour and doesn’t make my teeth look discoloured like a lot of lipsticks i’ve used before. It’s also a very bold colour BUT you don’t have to tone down your eye make up as it doesn’t look over the top.
Texture:
I found this lipstick to be very light on the lips. A downside to it would be that it shows up a lot of dead skin that I myself tend to have on my lips a lot of the time so you really do need to moisturise before using this product. Apart from this the texture was in fact creamy and very pigmented.
Lasting Time:
When I have used this product, I didn’t find myself applying it every hour or so. It kind of worked as a lip stain but wasn’t hard to get off when using make up remover. It lasted throughout the day better than I expected.
I will definitely be purchasing this product again! I’d overall give it a 9/10 due to the dry skin incident. Most certainly one of my winter favourites!

MUA review – 6 items for £6!

We all love a good bargain and what better than £1 make up! Here I have reviews of 6 MUA items which could save you a fortune!
1) Powered blusher in ‘Lolly’
This blusher has now taken over my life. It is so so pigmented and although there isn’t a wide range of colours, there seems to be all you need. I wear this on top of my cheekbones accompanied with a nude pink gloss or lipstick. It has a touch of glitter in it but not too much that you can’t wear it in the day time. This item was £1 and I honestly wouldn’t mind paying around £4-£5 for it. You don’t seem to get a lot of product (2.4g) but unless you’re plastering this all over your face I’m sure you could easily cope. 10/10
2) Intense kohl eyeliner in ‘Snow White’
Now I’m not a big fan of kohl liners, i usually go for a liquid or gel as i find they last longer and give a neater and bolder effect but since I have tried this out, i know for sure i’ll be repurchasing this time after time. I tend to wear this in my waterline at the bottom of my eye to make my eyes stand out and appear to look bigger. I expected it to be very thin and hardly pigmented but i was completely wrong, it couldn’t be more of the opposite. The first time i tried it was absolutely overwhelmed by how light and bold the colour was even for a white. This item was also £1 and I would highly recommend giving it a go! 10/10
3) Matte lipstick in ‘Peachy Keen’
For a matte lipstick this was very creamy which I find hard to come by. I wore this lipstick today and I wasn’t as impressed as I was with the other products. It tended to fade about half an hour after i applied it and even when i had first put it on, it didn’t seem to be very noticeable. I don’t know if this was the colour I purchase or the actual product so i will buy a bolder colour next time and find out. I wouldn’t recommend this in this colour but as stated, i’m not too sure about any other colours. 6/10
4) Metallic eyeshadow in shade ’10 – Pearl’
Okay so we all want an eyeshadow that is pigmented, doesn’t go everywhere when we put our brush in it and lasts for the whole day. Well ladies, i have the perfect product for you! Not only did they have so many beautiful shades but I am totally impressed with how pigmented this product is! The shadow has blue and red glitter when held in the light and is perfect for putting into the crease of your eye to make them appear wider! I would love to do a tutorial with this so expect one in a short while! This product was also £1 and I will be adding to the collection for years to come hopefully. 9/10
5) Metallic eyeshadow in shade ’12 – Pearl’
Okay, i have no idea why they are both called pearl seeing as they are different colours but hey you can’t expect everything can you? These shadows come in 2g pots and i am in love with this one as much as the other one. This shade is the grey coloured shadow in the picture. This is as much pigmented as the other and everything about it is heavenly. There’s not a lot else to say as it is all stated in the description of shade 10 before but go buy these they’re amazing! 9/10
6) Nail polish in shade ‘Pistachio Ice Cream’
This is the most beautiful colour i have ever set eyes on with a nail polish. The packaging looks exactly like the ‘Essie’ collection but on a smaller scale (6.2ml). I haven’t tried this product out properly but from what i’ve seen you’re going to need atleast 2-3 coats of this. It is very thin and seems as though it has been watered down. There are a wide range of colours to choose from, and i will be buying more but only if I physically and financially cannot get hold of anything better. I ‘d give this product a 7/10 from what i have seen so far.
I hope i have persuaded you to buy some of the products that i have reviewed because most of them are really worth it! If you have had different experiences that me with these please let me know in the comments!

Weekly Favourites

We all have our weekly favourite products, i even have a daily favourite so i’m going to tell you about the items which have been top of my list this week!
1) Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam (020 Cameo)
Ladies, we all want a foundation that gives us good coverage and is light on the skin and here it is! This foundation is the lightest i have ever used and it is so easy to apply! I have heard people say they have found it hard to control how much product comes out but i haven’t had any problems with this at all! To apply this i use a basic foundation brush (no brand) and it easily works as a concealer too! This product was priced at £3.97 as i got it online which is a very good price! I have seen a lot of negative reviews in relation to this product and i don’t understand why as it ticks all the boxes for me. However, if you have dry skin this product should be avoided as when i have had a few dry patches it does bring them out. Aslong as you moisturize before applying you should be fine! 9.5/10
2) Loud Lips Matte Lipstick (Shade 5 – Cherry Bomb)
A superduper pigmented lipstick is what every girl needs and i have finally found one! This is a beautiful shade and it so creamy on the lips! Once applied, you only need to top it up once really, it stays on for a very long time! So, if you forget to pop it in your bag there’s no need to worry! The packaging looks very high end and has a magnet to connect the lid to base. Would highly recommend this product 10/10
3) Mac Cremesheen Lipstick (Dare You)
Receiving mac products, especially lipstick for Christmas is the best thing a girl could get. This lipstick is glossy and really pigmented. It’s very moisturizing on the lips and lasts a very long time which is what we all need! This was my first mac lipstick and i’ll be sure to purchase more when and if i have the money. I personally really like the mac packaging as it’s very simplistic and looks very high end. I love this and would totally recommend it to whoever is looking for a new bestfriend! 10/10
4) Soap and Glory Gloss stick (Nudist)
We all need a day time gloss stick to go with our smokey eye and this product is just the thing. Apart from it’s very sticky texture this is the best gloss stick i have ever used. It is not too light or too dark it is the perfect balance and goes amazingly with pale skin and a pink blush. The packaging is very bulky and hard to fit into a purse but the font style and colours used are very feminine and classy. If you need a pale and nude gloss stick here’s your product! 9.5/10
I hope i have evaluated these products well and included everything you need to know in order to buy or not to buy! I would highly recommend all of them!
Happy Shopping!
